We all know how aggravating popup screens can be. If you are getting popup screens while you are on the internet are the advertisements? Spyware alerts? Virus alerts? Are they real? As if advertisements were not enough headaches, there are now fake spyware and virus alert programs out there. These false spyware and virus programs are themselves a virus. If you get one of these screens that says your infected you need to exit internet explorer by clicking the X in the upper right corner. Reboot your computer. Open internet explorer and see if the screen comes back. If it does, you are infected and need to seek assistance with its removal. The longer these viruses are on your computer the more damage they cause.
